Gin Farallon website on Mac monitor

Prior to the website re-design Gin Farallon didn’t have a way to add content or cocktail recipes to their website quickly without the help of a website developer. We added a WordPress blog, giving them the ability to add content on their own.

Although Gin Farallon’s products can’t be sold online in the state of California, we created a platform to display products in an online storefront from which customers are then taken to a third party website such as BevMo to complete their purchase.

We built a platform for Gin Farallon to easily add recipe cards to a page on their website. In a matter of minutes Gin Farallon can add a product shot, a photo of the cocktail, and the recipe.

We first met Farallon Gin Works, the distillers of Gin Farallon in San Francisco at the Craft Spirits Carnival. After tasting Brad’s gin and realizing we had a common background in authoring books about the distilling industry, we set out to work with one another. First, we committed to working on a full marketing plan, and after all of the research and planning it was determined Gin Farallon could use a website re-design. While the distillery’s old website certainly got the job done, we realized the potential to use the website development project to position Gin Farallon in a new digital space.

We love working with distillery and beverage clients because it means combining the two industries we know and love best: marketing and beverage. Gin Farallon’s website project was about more than updating the front-end of their website. Our work has laid the groundwork for interactive web experiences, SEO, online campaigns, and more. We’d love to discuss how we can help your brand grow, too!

Farallon Gin Works is a Northern California craft distilled-beverage company focused on gin and botanical spirits. Their flagship product, Gin Farallon, launched in 2015 and is a fast-growing California favorite. Coastal Spirits’ batches are limited to very small runs. This gives the micro-distillery the flexibility to try out novel techniques and experiment with products that no one else is making. Farallon also produces an award-winning vodka with two new products due to launch soon.
